In Short
1. For Windows XP, Pre-XP versions, and Vista, please install the relevant the Sinhala enabling pack from Local Languages website.
2. For Linux(Also Ubuntu, Kubuntu and others) Please see this guide : Enabling Sinhala in GNU/Linux HOWTO and http://sinhala.linux.lk/
3. For Mac OS/X, get this third-party Sinhala Unicode pack here. Unfortunately, free Sinhala support is currently not available for Mac.
